

The paste, carried by the mono pump and the 35º - 38º warm water from the flow meter are entering the decanter drum together. The water is carried out to the lower unit of the decanter from the entrance channel behind the drum and then it is sent to the vibrated sieve near the decanter. The oil within the drum is specially designed and it is taken out of the drum by 2 burners located opposite to each other. The oil entering the lower unit of the decanter helps to discharge the paste out of the system by creating a transfer differention through vibration.
A gearbox, in front of the drum helps to discharge the solid out of the system by creating a transfer differention between the drum and screw. Screw coils are covered with 2,5 mm think tungsten carbure of 60-65 Rockwell.
The aim here is to minimize the abrasion which may occur in time. All surfaces and the equipment the olive paste touches as it enters in to the decanter are made out of inox materials according to the good regulations.
In order to avoid the paste being stuck at the surface while it goes out the drum, a cleaning system is established at the front part of the drum. Against any jamming, a speed control system is used which will operate the paste pump during the operation of the decanter. The main frame which provides embedding for the decanter drum is produced out of St 37 materials.
