ASKI prefers Polat decanter

Polat Makina decanters which are the number 1 in Turkey in horizontal and vertical centrifuge technology realizes the dewatering processes in ASKİ plants located in Cubuk, Tatlar and Karakoy.

Waste Water Treatment Plant headquartered in Ankara provides service with 765.000 m³/day of capacity as the biggest waste water treatment plant of Turkey.  ASKI which provides high quality and clean potable water, protects water resources in the best way and enables the nature-friendly transformation of water used adopts a modern management approach in corporate development.

Polat Makina which won the tender opened by Ankara ASKI for Tatlar, Karakoy and Cubuk provides service in these 3 regions with 4 dewatering decanters in total. Waste water is discharged to the environment without causing any environmental pollution in these waste water treatment plants which realizes million tons of waste water treatment on annual basis. Excessive sludge formed in the plant is intensified and biogas is obtained by means of anaerobic digester. The biogas obtained is used to generate electricity and the energy need of the facility is met in this way.

ASKI plants had used belt presses in dewatering processes by 2011. 3 Polat Decanters each of which has 70 m3/hour of capacity and product of advance technology were started to be used after that time and dry material amount increased into 27-30% from 4-6%. Any need including assembly and maintenance is met by expert sales and aftermarket team of Polat Makina in order to handle the dewatering process in the plants in a healthy way.
