Milks obtained from the collection centers are gone through rough filters and cleaned (from straws, forage particles, etc.). However, effective cleaning is realized through separators especially. Leukocyte, blood particles, various microorganisms and bacterium-rich protein particles are separated by using a delicate process through Polat separators.

Furthermore, the process of setting the fat amount in the milk to the required level is realized through such separators. Obtaining skim milk or low-fat milk is possible through some applications such as separating cream which is the raw material of butter and standardization of milks sent to production.

Whey can be removed from cheese particles completely and fat left in the whey can be collected efficiently by using separators.
