Adana Waste Water Treatment Plant which provides service in an area for six hundred fifty thousands of square meters realizes the domestic and industrial waste water treatment discharged from Seyhan and drainage branches without being subject to treatment. 3 Polat decanters are used in sludge dewatering unit established in the plant constructed for complete biological treatment. Methane obtained in sludge treatment process meet 40% of the need of the plant for electricity energy.

Stating that the need of waste water treatment brings out the applications for water protection which is the fundamental resource of life, Osman Der, the Director of Adana ASKİ Seyhan Waste Water Treatment Plant expresses that they prefer to use Polat decanters manufactured through high centrifuge technology in their plants. Der says that: “We have 3 decanters with capacity of 50 square meters by Polat Makina. Two of them meet our needs now and we use the third one as a substitute.” and adds that: “We easily provide the dryness over 50% which we have wanted to obtain by using these decanters. We have never come across with a problem with Polat Makina decanters in sludge dewatering process.”

Underlying that they have preferred Polat decanters because they are the products of domestic production and with low cost. Der expresses that: “Spare part supply might take weeks when it comes to European brands. They claim that they can meet our needs within 4-6 weeks at least. 4 weeks for a running system means the destruction of the plant. Polat Makina meet our any need in terms of service and spare parts whenever we need. Polat Makina employees are very devoted and realizes the manufacture and delivers it during the day based on the demand.
