TP which played a leading role in the establishment and development of petrol and natural gas industry brought in various new things. It leaded the establishment of 17 major companies such as TÜPRAŞ, BOTAŞ, Petrol Ofisi, PETKİM which constitute the foundation of Turkish economy. Turkish Petroleum which takes firm steps in becoming a global energy company and carries the national success stories into international platforms became the “biggest Turkish investor in abroad” with its increasing investments.

As TPAO, various investment activities are required to be realizes such as seismic and drilling in order to find petrol or natural gas. Drilling rig and several hardware are required to carry out drilling and drilling sludge and various solid material hardware are required to use the sludge constantly. The decanter manufactured by Polat Makina is an equipment including such solid material hardware.

We used to meet our decanter need by importing. Previously, we used imported products in different brands in our organization. Polat decanter has more capacity than the other decanters do. We purchased 3 decanters from Polat Machinery, sent them to our regions. What we seek for the decanters is to reduce the density. There are used in both heavy oil and light sludge. It is harder to reduce the density in light sludge. We have come across with very high efficiency in test procedures of Polat decanter. It reduced the sludge density from 69 (ft3/lb) to 65(ft3/lb), which is significant to us. We believe that we made the right choice.”
